Our Story

What began as a small nursery specialising in fynbos propagation has grown into a full-service indigenous landscaping practice. We recognised early that homeowners wanted more than exotic lawns and imported shrubs — they wanted gardens that felt connected to this land.

Today, our team combines horticultural science with practical design experience. We work with private homeowners, commercial properties, and conservation projects across Gauteng and the Western Cape.

Every garden we create starts with deep respect for local ecosystems. We source plants from ethical suppliers, prioritise genetic diversity, and design for long-term sustainability rather than short-term aesthetics.

Our Approach

How we bring indigenous gardens to life, from first conversation to established landscape.

1

Understanding Your Site

We begin with a thorough site visit, examining soil composition, drainage patterns, existing vegetation, and microclimates. This data shapes every decision that follows.

2

Designing with Purpose

Our designs balance your practical needs — entertaining space, privacy, children's play areas — with ecological function. We select species that support local pollinators and birds.

3

Sourcing Quality Plants

We work with specialist indigenous nurseries to source healthy, locally-adapted specimens. No mass-produced imports — every plant is selected for its suitability to your specific conditions.

4

Expert Installation

Our experienced team handles ground preparation, irrigation installation, and planting. We time installations to coincide with optimal growing seasons for best establishment.

5

Ongoing Partnership

Gardens mature over years, not months. Our care programmes provide seasonal guidance, pruning, and monitoring to ensure your indigenous landscape thrives long-term.

What Guides Us

Principles that shape every project we undertake.

Ecological Integrity

We design gardens that function as habitat, not just decoration. Plant selection considers food sources for wildlife and seasonal flowering sequences.

Water Stewardship

Every design prioritises water efficiency through plant selection, soil improvement, and smart irrigation. We treat water as the precious resource it is.

Client Partnership

We educate as we work. Understanding your garden helps you appreciate it more and make informed decisions about its care.
